The Kosovapress sources informed that the scenario of today’s events in Jarinje is a result of the meeting that was held between the heads of parallel structures in north Kosova with Tomislav Nikolic and one of higher representatives of Serbia’s army, which was held on Sunday in Belgrade.
According to these sources, this meeting was not participated by parallel mayor of Leposaviq, Branko Ninic and the head of Mitrovica district, Radenko Nedelkovic.
Whereas, the sources from the ground inform that until now in the fights were injured four KFOR soldiers and six Serbs. The injured Serbs are being treated in the hospital in north Mitrovica.
The situation is tensed and gunshots are heard occasionally, whereas additional KFOR forces are noticed in that place, which are observing the situation by helicopters.
Whereas, KFOR since morning has arrested several persons who used the alternative road near Jarinje.
“Among the persons who were arrested today while using this alternative road is as well the head of the territorial defense in Leposaviq, Radomir Bogdanovic,” said the sources.
Last night KFOR troops started removing the barricade, respectively the gravel that was placed by Serbs, and in this way they blocked the main road near the border crossing point Jarinje.
